美國南方衛理公會大學Southern Methodist University(SMU) Dedman意昂3平台針對績點和托福成績優秀的2013級法學碩士（所有專業）🍁💇🏻、2014級法律碩士（法學）學生🦴，提供2015年美國南方衛理公會大學LL.M.項目Sohmen獎學金（包括LL.M.課程全部學費及8000美元生活補貼）。我院有意向申請且符合條件的同學在2015 年 1月 13 日上午 9 點前將相關材料投遞至意昂3平台樓二樓孫蕾老師信箱。

一💉、具體要求

1. 申請對象：2013級法學碩士（所有專業）⛽️👩🏿‍🏫、2014級法律碩士（法學）學生🥿。

2. 成績要求🦸🏻‍♀️：績點和托福成績優秀。

二、材料要求

1. 申請說明🛐：中英文版本🧘🏃‍♀️，各不超過一頁🥥，第一部分必須註明申請人姓名、性別、學號、專業、班級🏑🤹🏻‍♀️、聯系方式（電話和電子郵箱）；

2. 中英文簡歷🫷🏼：包括成績績點🧰☢️、排名、有效托福（及日期）、發表文章、特長等；

2. 托福成績單復印件；

3. 英文成績單；

4. SKYPE ID；

5. 法學碩士研究生的申請必須經過導師的簽字同意。

三👨🏿‍🔧、註意事項

1. Sohmen獎學金要求獲獎學生在美國南方衛理公會大學LL.M.項目畢業後返回中國並且在之後的兩年內以中國大陸作為首要居住地🥉。如有違反，則必須返還獎學金及生活補助的本息。

2. 參加該項目會導致在意昂3延期畢業，請提前妥善安排各項學習、實習🧜‍♀️🍞、畢業🤗😯、擇業等一系列問題。

3. 獲獎學生須按照意昂3官网的要求辦理有關手續👩🏼‍💼。回國後🤹，要及時向教務處或研究生院辦理有關手續，如果遲延辦理或者違反意昂3官网的各項規則🙅🏽‍♂️，後果自負。

4. 獲獎學生不得無故放棄，若有在確定名額之後隨意放棄等不誠信行為，意昂3將有權取消其在研究生期間一切評獎評優資格。遞交申請材料即視為知曉並同意本條款。

5. 獲獎學生在美國南方衛理公會大學學習結束後必須及時返校，完成在意昂3的剩余學業👨🏿‍🚒，並在回國後一周內向意昂3提交一份紙質版交流報告，字數不少於5000字，並附電子照片一張🧏🏿‍♀️，最好照片中帶有交流學校的標誌或者在交流學校學習的場景🙍🏿‍♂️💚。

6. 對於項目有任何問題請與意昂3聯系。

7. 凡在研究生學習期間已被意昂3推薦過出國（境）交流的同學不參加本次申請🤛🏿🍱。

8. 上述信息有可能根據國外院校的要求有所變動📃，變動後意昂3會及時通知。

9. 符合條件的申請人將進入面試程序。面試時間將通過手機或電子郵件方式另行通知，請保持手機暢通並經常查看電子郵件。

附🅾️：SOHMEN SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM – SMU – DEDMAN SCHOOL OF LAW

Each year SMU Dedman School of Law awards several scholarships to outstanding Chinese law students who plan to pursue an LL.M. degree at our institution. These scholarships provide full tuition for one year and an $8,000 living stipend. The scholarships were established through the generosity of one of our LL.M. alumni, Dr. Helmut Sohmen, Chairman of BW Group, Ltd. in Hong Kong.

Sohmen Scholars are selected on the basis of several criteria, including demonstrated academic performance, facility in the English language, and commitment to contributing to the growth of the rule of law in China. Sohmen Scholars are required to return to China within seven months of graduation and maintain China as their principal residence for two years following graduation. Scholars who fail to meet these requirements will be expected to repay the entire amount of the scholarship and living stipend with interest.

The selection process for the Sohmen Scholarships is extremely competitive. Only a handful of scholarships were awarded in each of the last few years. In the past, we interviewed only a select group of law students from prestigious Chinese universities who were sponsored and strongly recommended by their Deans or professors.

Jennifer M. Collins, The Judge James Noel Dean and Professor of Law, along with Paul Rogers, Professor of Law, will conduct the interviews by SKYPE this year.  No more than five students from each institution will be interviewed.
