he Legal-counsel Appointment Ceremony of Pudong New Area and China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone (“SHFTZ”) Administration was grandly held on June 22nd, 2018. Together with another 24 renowned experts and practitioners, Prof. GONG Baihua of Fudan University was appointed as the legal-counsel and legal advisor of Pudong New Area and SHFTZ Administration.

The participants of the Appointment Ceremony include WENG Zuliang, member of Municipal Standing Committee, party secretary of Pudong New Area and director of the SHFTZ Administration, and HANG Yingwei, deputy secretary-general of the Shanghai Municipal Government, head of Pudong New Area and vice director of SHFTZ Administration.

Prof.GONG Baihua, as one of the leading scholars to advise and research on rule of law issues during the establishment of SHFTZ, is now serving as the director of FTZ Legal Research Center of Fudan University. Previously, Prof. GONG Baihua has been engaged as external government legal-counsel of Shanghai Waigaoqiao FTZ Administration.
